    This is because we not only provide images and descriptions of each defect raised within our reports, but we have also integrated the relevant warranty providers standards in them too. This process provides the homeowner a clear understanding and visual to each defect raised within our reports and gives the developer clarity on how they should respond.

Our Customer Process

  1. Our clients are either in the process of purchasing a new build home or have recently purchased within the last 2 years.
  2. Our customers have the option to book our services online via our Book Online page on our website, over the phone or via email.
  3. If our customers Book Online, fill out the Contact Form or Email us to make a booking, we will contact you on the same day to discuss what suits you.
  4. Once you’re booked in by one of our team, we will then confirm your booking slot and all of the provided details via email.
  5. The next stage is the “Survey’’. The survey will then take place on the time & date confirmed with yourself.
  6. Once the survey is carried out, the inspector will then format the report and pass this onto our ‘’Quality Control Team’’ on the same day, for finalisation.
  7. Once finalisation has been completed, the report will then be sent in a PDF format to the provided email address.
  8. After your report has been received you can then pass this onto the developer.
  9. Once this has been passed onto your developer, you can then contact us anytime, to help answer any queries regarding the report, or to gain any further advice if required.

New Build Snagging Surveys

Acuro currently offer 5 types of survey; our Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Services.  All our Surveys include Warranty Provider standards and Building Regulation referencing throughout the report, priorities, marked-up images and detailed descriptions.

Bronze Service

Critical

The Bronze Service is to establish High Priority Safety and Technical property defects and excludes all cosmetic damages.  These High Priority items are deemed as a possible concern to safety or may have the capability to cause issues to the property in the future.

 

This type of survey is suitable for homeowners who:

  • Have been given an estimated completion date by their developer.
  • Have recently legally completed the purchase of their property.
  • Are within their developers 2 year warranty period.
  • Are only interested in Safety & Technical aspects, relating to Building Regulations & Warranty Standards.
  • This Survey is ideal for those who want to keep the costs down but wish to protect their investment and reduce the likelihood of issues arising when selling their home in the future.

 

Silver Service

Warranty

The Silver Service is to establish property defects and excludes all cosmetic damages, a Thermal Imaging Scan is included as standard when purchasing this service and is offered subject to suitable weather conditions.

This type of survey is suitable for homeowners who:

  • have occupied their property for less than 23 months.
  • Are coming to the end of their 2 year developers warranty and would like a record of the property condition so any reported defects remain the responsibility of the developer after their warranty has expired.

Platinum Service

Fully Comprehensive

The Platinum Service is our most comprehensive inspection to establish property defects and includes all *cosmetic damages, a drone survey and Thermal Imaging Scan are included as standard when purchasing this service and are offered subject to suitable weather conditions.

This type of survey is suitable for purchasers and homeowners who:

  • Have been given an estimated completion date by their developer.
  • Have recently legally completed the purchase of their property.
  • Who are within their developers cosmetic defect reporting period*


*Homeowners are encouraged to check the cosmetic damages deadline with their developer either before or upon completion.

Gold Service

Excludes Cosmetic Damages

The Gold Service is to establish property defects and excludes all cosmetic damages, a drone survey and Thermal Imaging Scan are also included as standard when purchasing this service and are offered subject to suitable weather conditions.

This type of survey is suitable for homeowners who:

  • have occupied their property for less than 2 years.
  • Are outside of their developers cosmetic defect reporting period but still want a snagging survey carried out.  

Platinum Service

All Inclusive

The Platinum Service is our fully inclusive inspection to establish property defects and includes all *cosmetic damages, a drone survey and Thermal Imaging Scan are included as standard when purchasing this service and are subject to suitable weather conditions.  This service also includes a De-Snag Revisit & 1 Hour Video Aftercare as part of the package.

This type of survey is suitable for purchasers and homeowners who:

  • Have been given an estimated completion date by their developer.
  • Have recently legally completed the purchase of their property.
  • Are within their developers cosmetic defect reporting period*
  • Would like us to return to reinspect their home to report on developer compliance with the previously issued Snagging Survey Report.
  • Would like an Hour of Video support on any Technical Issues arising following the survey, with the Surveyor.

 

*Purchasers and Homeowners are encouraged to check the cosmetic damages deadline with their developer either before or upon completion.

Aerial Drone Service

All our roof surveys are carried out using the latest drone technology, this is to ensure a thorough and detailed inspection.

Our drones enable us to record high resolution still or video imagery, in a safe and effective manner, identifying issues that cannot be seen from the ground.

We hold a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Permission for use of drone technology and all of our drones are fully public liability insured by Coverdrone.

An aerial drone survey is included free of charge when purchasing a Platinum or Gold Snagging service and are offered subject to suitable weather conditions.

Thermal Imaging Service

All of our snagging surveys can include specialist heat sensitive thermal imaging cameras to ensure a thorough and detailed survey.

Our thermal imaging technology enables us to inspect certain areas within the property, identifying issues that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

A Thermal Imaging Survey is included free of charge when purchasing a Platinum or Gold Snagging service and are offered subject to suitable weather conditions.

Our drone survey is included when purchasing our Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus packages and is available as an optional extra on all packages, with the exception of a Pre-Completion Survey and is offered subject to suitable weather conditions.
