This type of survey is suitable for homeowners who have previously requested one of our Snagging Packages. The de-snagging Re-visit must be completed within two years of the original inspection, or
no later than the developers warranty expiration date.
The De-Snagging inspection acts as a standalone service and is included as standard in our Platinum Plus package only. We can offer a De-Snagging service as an optional extra on our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages. Please note, we are unable to offer a De-Snagging Service on Pre-Completion Surveys.
The purpose of the de snagging inspection is to re-visit the property following the initial snagging survey report. This will summarise the findings and comment on the action taken by the developer, as well as report on the standard of workmanship, relating to the remedial works carried out to correct defects.
The De-Snagging survey will summarise the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, in our experienced opinion, following relevant Structural Warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations.
Acuro Group Limited will not carry out the De-Snagging survey to identify additional defects with the property but aim to ensure the correction of reported defects on the initial snagging report have been
completed to a high standard.
Where possible the De-Snagging survey will be completed by the same surveyor who attended the initial inspection and sent the electronic report. However, this is not always possible. Therefore, a different surveyor could conduct the survey, if the original surveyor is unavailable.
This survey will summarise the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, following relevant structural warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations. It will cover any raised issues during the previous inspection on both the internal and external aspects of the property, including any outbuildings and garden areas within its boundary.
