Bronze Service

This type of survey is suitable for all types of homeowners that are within their developers 2 year warranty period and require a critical safety and technical aspects survey. This Survey is ideal for those who want to keep the costs down but wish to protect their investment and reduce the likelihood of issues arising when selling their home in the future.

This survey will summarise the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, following relevant structural warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations. It will cover any high priority raised issues during the inspection on both the internal and external aspects of the property, including any outbuildings and garden areas within its boundary. It will not include a thermal imaging scan or aerial drone survey, using our specialist equipment, or cover minor and cosmetic issues.

“High Priority” issues listed within the survey report are in our opinion defects that will require further investigation and should be actioned first by the property developer. These items are deemed as a possible concern to safety or may have the capability to cause issues to the property in the future.

This type of survey is suitable for Homeowners who have Lived in their property between 6-23 months and are still within their developer’s warranty period.

This survey summarises the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, following relevant structural warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations. It will cover any raised issues of the inspection on both the internal and external aspects of the property, including any outbuildings and garden areas within its boundary.

This type of survey is to establish defects relevant to the developers warranty period without covering cosmetic issues, but does include a thermal imaging scan using our specialist equipment.

Platinum+ Service

This type of package is suitable for homeowners who have just legally completed or are within the developers cosmetic reporting period (typically up to 12 weeks) and require a “de-snag” revisit inspection, once defects are deemed completed by the developer, following the initial inspection.

The process of this package consists of two onsite surveys, one shortly after completion to raise issues to the developer and another survey re-visit, to ensure defects have been resolved to a satisfactory standard. The package also includes an additional one hour aftercare video call with one of our construction professionals, to follow up and answer any questions or concerns following the initial snagging survey inspection.

The “Platinum Plus” surveys summarise the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, following relevant structural warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations. It will cover any raised issues of the inspection on both the internal and external aspects of the property, including any outbuildings and garden areas within its boundary.

It will also include a thermal imaging scan and aerial drone inspection, using our specialist equipment, as well as a re-visit inspection to ensure defects have been resolved to a satisfactory standard, with a one hour aftercare video call with one of our construction professionals.

Pre-Completion Service

RPSA & NHQB Survey

Recommended for:

Homeowners who have yet to legally complete on their purchase that would like an NHQB Standard Survey completed.

This type of Survey is suitable for Homeowners who are yet to legally complete on their property and wish to have a snagging survey completed prior to legal completion.

The Pre-Completion Package/Survey summarises the findings of a non-intrusive inspection, following the New Homes Quality Board (NHQB) Pre–Completion Inspection guidelines and the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) New Build Inspection & Reporting Standards.

Pre–completion surveys are to only inspect the fundamentals externally and internally, but no use of specialist equipment or referral to Building Regulations or relevant warranty standards is permitted. The client agrees and understands we and our surveyors are limited to the checks and reporting standards mentioned by the NHQB & RPSA, meaning our service must be limited to comply with these requirements.

De-Snag Service

Revisit following initial survey

This type of survey is suitable for homeowners who have previously requested one of our Snagging Packages. The de-snagging Re-visit must be completed within two years of the original inspection, or
no later than the developers warranty expiration date.

The De-Snagging inspection acts as a standalone service and is included as standard in our Platinum Plus package only. We can offer a De-Snagging service as an optional extra on our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages. Please note, we are unable to offer a De-Snagging Service on Pre-Completion Surveys.

The purpose of the de snagging inspection is to re-visit the property following the initial snagging survey report. This will summarise the findings and comment on the action taken by the developer, as well as report on the standard of workmanship, relating to the remedial works carried out to correct defects.

The De-Snagging survey will summarise the findings of a visual snagging inspection of the property, in our experienced opinion, following relevant Structural Warranty provider standards and UK Building Regulations.

Acuro Group Limited will not carry out the De-Snagging survey to identify additional defects with the property but aim to ensure the correction of reported defects on the initial snagging report have been
completed to a high standard.

Where possible the De-Snagging survey will be completed by the same surveyor who attended the initial inspection and sent the electronic report. However, this is not always possible. Therefore, a different surveyor could conduct the survey, if the original surveyor is unavailable.
